Patrick graduated from Saint Martin’s School of Art as a designer and illustrator. His first job was working for British Airways before he set up his own design company, which he ran for a number of years.
He also taught in Art Colleges and Universities and was appointed to the post of Dean of a large Art School in the South of England.
Throughout his career, he has displayed a deep interest in painting all forms of wildlife. He initially concentrated on the Macaw family of parrots before branching out, painting other exotic birds and animals.
He has sold his work through international auction houses such as Chisties and Sotherby’s as well as locally, but the major outlet of his work has been through commissions, successful one man exhibitions and venues such as Petworth House ( The National Trust estate ). He has sold work throughout Europe, America and Asia.
Patrick has travelled extensively to gain the essential research, which is required to paint such detailed work. He is preparing a new series of sketches and paintings, after returning from his recent travels.
He lives in Surrey, England with his family.
